THE DEER is a short, paranoid thriller film in the cinematic tone of THE INVISIBLE MAN (2020), THE DESPERATE HOUR (2021), and THE FALLOUT (2022), and examines the collateral trauma of school shootings, told through the interiority of Joy, a first responder crime scene investigator.
